The most
interesting experiences being implemented in the Andean region in the topic of
Alternative Development will be presented next April 3rd, 2006 during the "Andean
Regional Seminar on Marketing for Alternative Development Products." This event
will take place at the Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada Convention Center in Bogota,
Colombia.
Participants of
this seminar will show how their countries implement programs to create
successful enterprises that benefit former producers of coca and poppy.
The Andean
Regional Seminar on Marketing for Alternative Development Products is organized
by the Presidential Agency for Social Action and International Cooperation (ACCIÓN
SOCIAL), Carrefour, Colombia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the
French Embassy, the United Nations Office Against Drug and Crime and the
Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD).
The
agenda includes presenters from domestic organizations, as well as
representatives from Andean countries, international organizations and the
private industry. |
