National Secretariat for Drug Policy
The National Secretariat for Drug Policy (SENAD) is the national drug authority of Brazil. SENAD was established in 1998 and transferred to the Ministry of Justice in 2011, at the highest level of the Executive Branch, under only the Presidency of the Republic. It has articulations with other ministries, such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Education, among others.
