National Commission
The National Drug Commission (ANC) is the national drug authority of El Salvador established pursuant to Legislative Decree Number 153 dated October 2, 2003, published in Official Gazette No. 208, Volume 361 on November 7, 2003, which reformed the Law Regulating Drug Activities. The CNA is under the Direction of the President of the Republic who appoints its Executive Director, in accordance with the provisions of the Law Regulating Activities Related to Drugs (Article 5).
