National Commission

The National Council Against Organized Crime is the national drug authority of Nicaragua, which was established in 2010 and is located under the office of the Minister of Interior of the country who is its President. This National Council is made up of the following institutions that make up the directive level of the national authority:
- Minister of the Interior (President)
- Attorney General of the Republic (Vice-President)
- A deputy of the National Assembly
- Director General, National Police
- President of the Supreme Court of Justice
- Commander-in-Chief of the Nicaraguan Army
- Attorney General of the Republic
- Attorney for the Defense of Human Rights
- Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Health Minister
- Minister of Education
- Minister for Family, Adolescence and Children
- Minister of Defense
- Director of the Nicaraguan Institute of Youth
- General Superintendent of Banks and other Financial Institutions
