The National Commission for the Study and Prevention of Drugs (CONAPRED), is a technical and administrative body of the State, for the study of mechanisms for the prevention of illegal activities related to drugs and for the rehabilitation of these behaviors. It was created by Law 23 of July 30, 1986, which reformed some articles of the criminal code and the judicial code and adopted other special provisions on crimes related to drugs for prevention and rehabilitation.
