Improving Drug Treatment Services

Purpose of the action: To develop actions aimed at improving drug treatment services at the municipal level (between cities from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean) in collaboration with other regional and national agents, as well as with the health systems. The different activities described cover the following areas of work: data collection, design and development of a local rapid assessment, needs assessment, planning, capacity building, and treatment system evaluation.

EU-LAC Drug Treatment City Partnerships is an initiative funded by the European Commission, and coordinated by the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), Secretary for Multidimensional Security of the Organization of the American States (OAS).
