Webliography: Prevention resources on the
internet november 1998 This webliography has been compiled over a period of nine months and is not exhaustive. Much can be added to it, specially in terms of Internet resources in Latin America, and other Western Hemisphere countries. Its primary goal was to facilitate access to drug prevention information, and the related areas of treatment and education, to the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), staff in its demand reduction line of action and other professionals in the national drug commissions and information centers in Latin America. The web sites are listed alphabetically and I have included, whenever possible, the country and/or state and a mission statement, to illustrate the area of expertise for each resource listed. As this list is updated, I will try to include a mission statement for all the sites listed.
