STRUCTURE:	The National Antidrugs Council Suriname includes the following: Representatives of the Ministry of Health; Representative of the Ministry of Social Affairs; Representative of the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs Department; Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Representative of the Ministry of Justice and Police; Representative of the Psychiatric Center Suriname; Representative of the National Women’s Movement; Representative of the Bureau for NGO's; Representative of the Office of the Attorney General.
FUNCTIONS:	The functions of the National Antidrugs Council Suriname are: National advisory and coordinating body to address the issues regarding use and abuse of drugs, including psychotropic substances, alcohol and tobacco. Policy development regarding national drug control. Coordination of national drug prevention activities by GO’s and NGO’s
